Summer 2009 Fundraiser

Please set aside the evening of Saturday July 18th to join the team at Speak Up as we host our Summer 2009 Fundraiser.  The evening will feature a silent auction, many of your friends and colleagues who are interested in global justice, and a chance to learn more about our plans to advocate for the oppressed around the world.

Stuck in Malaysia

I left Bangkok a week ago to come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore to make some contacts with people working on anti-trafficking and immigrants issues, and now I'm stuck in KL unable to fly back into Bangkok because of the protests there that have shut down the international airport.  If it doesn't clear up soon, it looks like I'll be on the slow train from KL to Bangkok.  I've always like train travel, so that would bekind of fun, though 48 hours on the train does get a bit long.
